Portland’s Betsy Walton makes me want to live in the forest.
One of my favorite bands of all time playing one of my favorite songs. This song pretty much sums up how I am feeling about Portland lately :)
Feels good to be back.
Portland’s Blitzen Trapper’s sensitive woodsman music makes me feel like I am home.
Butternut squash soup, mashed potatoes, and homemade Mac & Cheese intended to make a grown man cry…although I got schooled in the end by Frason’s crispy crust deliciousness. Next year, rematch.

It is a 95 degree day over here.
A desert-like 95 degree heat.
That is crazy hot.
So we are staying inside.
An impromptu trip to the beautiful Oregon Coast
And a 14 mile bike ride through Portland.
I returned to Portland from NYC and was happily surprised by:
1) My image below was accepted in a photography exhibit at Newspace Gallery. The show will be up for most of September. Yay!
2) One of my photos (not sure which one yet) featured in the next issue of F-Stop Magazine. Double yay!
